Sonya Yoncheva makes her Brazilian debut with two recitals at the Teatro Cultura Artística, São Paulo, on August 31 and September 2, 2024. Accompanied on the piano by her frequent collaborator Malcolm Martineau, the Bulgarian soprano will essentially present her well-traveled and highly acclaimed “Ad una Stella” program” a musical journey that – on these two occasions -includes masterpieces by Giacomo Puccini, Giuseppe Martucci, Giuseppe Verdi, Francesco Paolo Tosti, and Isaac Albéniz. This global recognition has been earned on numerous prestigious stages worldwide, including the Metropolitan Opera, Berlin Philharmonie, Salle Gaveau Paris, Enescu Festival Bucharest, Munich Opera Festival, Palau de les Arts Valencia, Théâtre du Capitol Toulouse, Teatro Real Madrid, Salle Garnier Monte-Carlo, and others.
