Pietari Inkinen is returning to Seoul to conduct the KBS Symphony Orchestra, of which he has been Music Director since 2022, on November 29, 2024.

The program includes Igor Stravinsky’s The Firebird Suite, The Rite of Spring, and Alexander Scriabin’s Prometheus, The Poem of Fire, starring pianist   Jean-Yves Thibaudet.

The Finnish conductor has often included Stravinsky’s arguably better-known work, the powerful, visceral, scandalous, and highly influential Rite of Spring, most notably at his debut with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and at la Monnaie in Brussels.
