On January 21 and 23, 2024, Gabriela Scherer will sing the role of Leonore in Fidelio at the Teatro Nacional de Sāo Carlos in Lisbon, in a production by Georges Delnon and under the musical direction of Graeme Jenkins. She will sing alongside Nikolai Schukoff as Florestan, Boaz Daniel as Don Pizarro, Joshua Bloom as Rocco, Susana Gaspar as Marzelline and Leonel Pinheiro as Jaquino.
