On February 14, 2026, Erika Grimaldi sings her most frequently performed and cherished role, Mimì, in La bohème at the Teatro Alfieri, in a production by Stefano Ferrara conducted by Aldo Savagno. She shares the stage with Haiyang Guo as Rodolfo, William Allione as Marcello, Aleksandrina Mihaylova as Musetta, Davide Sodini as Colline, Francesco Cascione as Schaunard, and the veteran Armando Ariostini as Benoît and Alcindoro.

A native of Asti, Erika Grimaldi had graced the stage of the Teatro Alfieri only once before, as Adina in L’elisir d’amore, in 2010, as part of the regional tour of the Teatro Regio Torino.

About the Production:

“La Bohème”, with a libretto by Giuseppe Giacosa and Luigi Illica, tells the story of a group of young bohemian artists in 1830s Paris, focusing on the tragic love story between the poet Rodolfo and Mimì, a seamstress suffering from tuberculosis. Puccini’s masterpiece is structured in four scenes and is based on Henri Murger’s serialized novel “Scènes de la vie de bohème”.
