Sonya Yoncheva stars as Floria Tosca in a concert performance of Puccini’s masterpiece in Warsaw on June 28, 2026, joined by tenor Jonathan Tetelman as Mario Cavaradossi and baritone George Gagnidze as Baron Scarpia. The performance, presented at Plac Centralny, features Sinfonia Varsovia, the Chór Filharmonii Narodowej, and conductor Bassem Akiki.

One of the defining Puccini interpreters of her generation, Sonya Yoncheva has made Tosca a central role of her international career, bringing the Roman diva to many of the world’s leading opera houses with a portrayal celebrated for its vocal opulence, sensuality, and dramatic intensity.

She will next sing the Roman diva in August at Alexander Nevsky Square in Sofia, returning to her native Bulgaria for another major open-air performance of one of her signature roles.
