CARMEN | ETIENNE DUPUIS | LONGUEUIL

Etienne Dupuis returns to his native Quebec on June 7 for a special one-night performance as Escamillo in Carmen, directed by Isabeau Proulx-Lemire and conducted by Jean-Marie Zeitouni. This presentation is part of the renowned Festival Classica in Longueuil and will take place at the Cocathédrale Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue. He will be joined by Marie-Nicole Lemieux as Carmen, Emmanuel Hasler as Don José, and Suzanne Taffot as Micaëla.
The role of the swaggering Spanish toreador was one of the first Etienne Dupuis ever sang on stage; he most recently performed it in the 2022–2023 season at the Opéra Bastille in Paris.
