A Puccini showcase with a first: Erika Grimaldi adds “In questa reggia” to her repertoire in Malmö. On May 22, she stars in a gala at the Malmö Opera, conducted by Giordano Bellincampi, alongside Gustavo Porta and David Kempster. The program also includes excerpts from Manon Lescaut, La bohème, Tosca, and Madama Butterfly. Erika Grimaldi recently made acclaimed debuts as Suor Angelica and Giorgetta (Il tabarro) with the National Symphony Orchestra at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and at Carnegie Hall.
