Sonya Yoncheva makes her long-awaited role debut as Rusalka in Dvořák’s beloved lyric fairy tale, joined by tenor Pavel Černoch as the Prince, bass Jongmin Park as Vodník, mezzo-soprano Jennifer Johnston as Ježibaba, and soprano Giselle Allen as the Foreign Princess.

The performances are conducted by Domingo Hindoyan, Chief Conductor of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, and Sonya Yoncheva’s husband.

The Bulgarian soprano previously made her Liverpool debut in May 2022, performing Giuseppe Martucci’s La canzone dei ricordi with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra under Hindoyan at the Philharmonic Hall.
