ANNALISA STROPPA TO MAKE HER DEBUT AT THE STAATSOPER UNTER DEN LINDEN

On February 1, 2019 Annalisa Stroppa will make her house debut at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, singing Rosina in Ruth Berghaus’s staging of Il barbiere di Siviglia. Michele Angelini, Alfredo Daza, Renato Girolami, Jan Martiník, Adriane Queiroz, David Oštrek and Florian Eckhardt will sing the other roles, Stefano Ranzani will conduct. There will be five performances with the last one taking place on March 2.

Rosina is one of Annalisa Stroppa’s favourite roles that she has sung at many prestigious opera houses and festivals such as the Semperoper Dresden, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the Monte-Carlo Opera, the Terme di Caracalla Festival in Rome, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the New Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv, the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona and the Bilbao Opera.

After this Barbiere in Berlin Annalisa Stroppa will sing Nicklausse in Les contes d’Hoffmann at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Suzuki in Madama Butterfly at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Zerlina in Don Giovanni at the Chorégies d’Orange Festival and Dorabella in Così fan tutte in Las Palmas.
