After receiving rave reviews for her debut as Maddalena di Coigny in Andrea Chénier last fall, on June 1, 2023, Erika Grimaldi returns to the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, this time to take part in its symphonic season, singing the soprano soloist part in Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 in G Major, led by Frédéric Chaslin. The program also includes the conductor’s own “Theme and Variations on a theme of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 for trombone and orchestra”, with trombonist Paolo Masi.

On June 17, the Asti-born soprano will debut yet one more role at the Teatro Comunale Bologna, Leonora di Vargas in La forza del destino.
