On June 4, 2022, Etienne Dupuis will make his San Francisco Opera debut in the title role of Don Giovanni, in a new production by Michael Canavagh and under the musical direction of Maestro Bertrand de Billy, the first of a series of seven performances running through July 2, 2022. He will sing alongside Luca Pisaroni as Leporello, Adela Zaharia as Donna Anna, Nicole Car as Donna Elvira, Amitai Pati as Don Ottavio, Cristina Gansch as Zerlina, Solomon Howard as Commendatore and Cody Quattlebaum as Masetto.

The Quebecois baritone has already performed the role of the ultimate seducer in a new production at the Opéra National de Paris in 2009.

In addition to Don Giovanni, he will appear at the San Francisco Opera in a concert entitled Eun Sun Kim conducts Verdi.
