On July 14 and 15, 2023, Étienne Dupuis will take part in the Hannover Klassik Open Air 2023, also starring soprano Nicole Car and tenor Xabier Anduaga. The NDR Radiophilharmonie will be led by Cornelius Meister. On the program overtures, arias, and duets from operas
by Mozart, Leoncavallo, Donizetti,Verdi and Puccini.

As always, the popular Hannover Open Air 2023 takes place in the fairytale Maschpark, where thousands of opera enthusiasts sit on blankets and chairs. The first performance will be broadcast by NDR Kultur, while the second one will be video live streamed, on both occasions at 8.30 p.m.

This is Ètienne Dupuis’s last 2022/23 engagement, while he prepares for an upcoming season rich with star turns performances with role debuts as Rigoletto in Madrid, Sancho Pança in Don Quichotte in Paris, and a world premiere “La Reine-garçon” by Bilodeau in Montreal.
