On January 25 and 28, Frédéric Chaslin will lead the Belgian National Orchestra in two concerts starring soprano Angela Gheorghiu and tenor Jonathan Tetelman at the Bozar Brussels and the Philharmonie de Paris, respectively.

Maestro Chaslin will conduct Respighi’s Burlesca for orchestra P. 59, Ponchielli’s Dance of the Hours from La Gioconda, Lalo’s Overture from Le roi d’Ys, while Angela Gheorghiu and Jonathan Tetelman will perform arias and duets from Macbeth, Carmen, La Gioconda, Manon Lescaut, Tosca, La bohème, Le Cid, Werther and Andrea Chénier.

Soon after these two musical events, the French conductor will start rehearsals for a new production of Les Contes d’Hoffmann at the Teatro alla Scala, scheduled to open on March 15, 2023.
