On May 17, 2024, Gabriela Scherer will make her role debut as Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni at the Staatsoper Berlin, in a production by Vincent Huguet and under the musical direction of Marc Minkowski. She will share the stage with Lucio Gallo in the title role, Riccardo Fassi as Leporello, Jeanine De Bique as Donna Anna, Bogdan Volkov as Don Ottavio, Regina Koncz as Zerlina, Antonio Di Matteo as Commendatore, and Adam Kutny as Masetto. There will be additional performances on May 19, 23, 26, 31, and June 7, 2024.

The Swiss soprano has already been feted at the Staatsoper Berlin as the protagonist of Ariadne auf Naxos and Elisabetta in Don Carlo.
