On May 19, 2019 Irina Lungu will sing Donna Anna in Don Giovanni at the Tonhalle in Düsseldorf, in a special one-off guest performance given by the company of the Vienna State Opera. Conductor Adam Fischer will lead the evening, which will also feature soloists Tara Erraught, Svetlina Stoyanova, Adam Plachetka, Jongmin Park, Jörg Schneider, Peter Kellner, and Dan Paul Dumitrescu.

Ms. Lungu most recently appeared as Donna Anna at the Estates Theater in Prague, conducted by Plácido Domingo during the 2017/2018 season. That same season, she sang Donna anna at the Vienna State Opera. She made her debut as Donna Anna in 2015, at the Arena di Verona, in the Franco Zefferlli staging.

Following this performance of Don Giovanni, Ms. Lungu will sing Norina in Don Pasquale at the Vienna State Opera, after which she will return to the Arena di Verona as Violetta in La Traviata.
