On November 30, 2019 Irina Lungu will take place in the gala concert closing the 48th opera season of the Fundació Menorquina de l’Òpera y Amics de s’Òpera de Maó on the Balearic Island of Menorca. Under the musical direction of Maestro Jordi Bernàcer conducting the Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears, the Russian soprano together with the Italian tenor Antonio Poli will interpret some of the most famous arias and duets of the classic operatic repertoire.

After this concert, Irina Lungu’s upcoming engagements include Mimì in La bohème at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo and at the Teatro Lirico Cagliari, Marguerite in Faust at the Sydney Opera House, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni at the Vienna State Opera and her debut as the soprano soloist in Verdi’s Messa da Requiem at the Zaryadye Hall Moscow.
