MARIA JOSÉ SIRI AS TOSCA IN GENOVA

On May 2, 2019 Maria José Siri will appear in the first of four performances as the title role in Tosca at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova, Italy. The production will be conducted by Valerio Galli, and will feature staging by Andrea Cigni. Performances run through May 12, 2019. Joining Ms. Siri throughout the series will be Murat Karahan, Jorge de León, Carlos Álvarez, and Alberto Gazale, among others.

Ms. Siri has most recently appeared as Tosca at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. She has also been heard in the role at such opera houses as the Dresden Semperoper, the Vienna State Opera, and the Teatro Regio in Turin.

Upcoming engagements for Ms. Siri include Amelia in Un ballo in maschera at the Hessisches State Theater’s International May Festival in Wiesbaden, the title role in Manon Lescaut at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, and the Verdi Requiem at the Bregenzer Festspiel.
