MARÍA JOSÉ SIRI SINGS ADRIANA LECOUVREUR IN BARI

On March 4, 2020, María José Siri will sing the title role of Adriana Lecouvreur at the Teatro Petruzzelli Bari, in a production by Giovanni Agostinucci and under the musical direction of Maestro Jordi Bernàcer, the first of a series of four performances running through March 10, 2020. She will share the stage with Migran Agadzhanyan as Maurizio di Sassonia, Alessandra Volpe as Principessa di Bouillon and Pietro Spagnoli as Michonnet.

The Uruguayan soprano, who will perform the role of the French tragedienne for the first time in her career, is also making her Teatro Petruzzelli debut.

Other upcoming engagements for María José Siri include Aida at the Ópera de las Palmas, Giorgetta in Il tabarro and her role debut as Anna in Le villi at the Teatro Filarmonico Verona, Manon Lescaut at the Teatro Carlo Felice Genoa, Tosca at the Teatro Colón Buenos Aires, her role debut as Santuzza in Cavalleria rusticana, Nedda in Pagliacci and Aida at the Arena Verona.
