Pietari Inkinen will lead the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie in two concerts entitled “Wassermusik” on February 24 and 25, 2024 in Kaiserslautern and Saarbrücken, respectively, with a program including two Jean Sibelius symphonies, No. 6 in d minor, op. 105 and No. 7 in C Major, op. 105, as well as Johannes Brahms’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor op. 15 featuring soloist, fellow Finn Antti Siirala.

The Finnish conductor has long and intensely championed Sibelius’s music, having also recorded all his symphonies with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra for the Naxos label.
