On September 8, 2024, at the Congresshalle Saarbrücken, Pietari Inkinen will conduct the Deutsche Radio Philharmonic in a concert including Gustav Mahler’s “Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen” starring Italian baritone André Schuen, as well as Franz Schubert’s Symphony No. 8 in C Major D944.

On September 15, the Finnish Maestro will reprise Schubert’s masterpiece in the Ottobeuren Basilica. Anton Bruckner’s Te Deum will also be added to the program, with soprano Meredith Wohlgemuth, alto Marie Henriette Reinhold, tenor Matthew Swensen, and bass Manuel Winckhler.
