On September 10, 2023, Pietari Inkinen inaugurates the 2023/24 season of the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie with a concert entitled “Gefühlsstürme” at the Saarbrücken, Congresshalle. The program includes Richard Wagner’s Overture to “Tannhäuser”, Johannes Brahms’s “Symphony No. 3 in F Major, op. 90”, and Sergey Rachmaninov’s “Piano Concerto No. 3 in d minor, op. 30, where he joins forces with pianist Yeol Eum Son.
Subsequently, Pietari Inkinen and the DRP leave for a week-long South Korean tour presenting the same program and guest artists, in towns such as Seoul (September 13 and 14), Cheonan (September 15), Gwangju (September 16), Tongyeong (September 17), Busan (September 19), and Bucheon (September 20).
