PIETARI INKINEN | RICHARD-STRAUSS-FEST | LUDWIGSBURGER SCHLOSSFESTSPIELE

On June 21, 2025, at the Forum am Schlosspark Ludwigsburg, Pietari Inkinen conducts the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie in a concert entirely devoted to Richard Strauss, that opens with Don Juan op. 20, continues with “Orchesterlieder Cäcilie” op. 27/2, “Traum durch die Dämmerung” op. 29/1, “Des Dichters Abendgang” op. 47/2, “Ruhe meine Seele« op. 27/1 and “Verführung” op. 33/1, Vier sinfonische Zwischenspiele aus “Intermezzo” and concludes with “Till Eulenspiegels lustige Streiche”. The concert is part of the Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele, one of Germany’s oldest and most prestigious festivals for classical music and the performing arts, where Pietari Inkinen previously served as chief conductor. The program features renowned tenor Matthew Swensen.
