RICCARDO MASSI IN UN BALLO IN MASCHERA AT THE BOLSHOI THEATRE

On February 20, 2019 Riccardo Massi returns to the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow as Riccardo in the season premier of Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera in a staging by Davide Livermore conducted by Giacomo Sagripanti. Tatjana Serjan will sing Amelia, Vladimir Stoyanov Renato, Nadia Krasteva Ulrica and Anna Aglatova Oscar. Riccardo Massi will sing a total of three performances with the last show taking place on February 24.

The Italian tenor is highly acclaimed for his interpretations of Verdi roles. As Riccardo in Un ballo in maschera, Massi has won acclaim in past performances in the 2014/2015 season at La Monnaie in Brussels and in a gala performance alongside Sondra Radvanovsky at the Nationaltheater Mannheim in the 2016/2017 season.

After these performances of Un ballo in maschera Riccardo Massi will return to Mannheim in a gala performance of Madama Butterfly, will sing the same opera at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, where he will also perform Pollione in Norma. At the Semperoper Dresden and the Washington National Opera he will sing Cavaradossi in Tosca.
