On April 28, 2024, Sonya Yoncheva will participate in the star-studded gala concert at the Wiener Staatsoper where its director Bogdan Roščić will present the 2024/25 season.

In addition to Sonya Yoncheva, under the musical direction of Asher Fisch, Xabier Anduaga, Federica Lombardi, Anna Netrebko, Georg Nigl, Ludovic Tézier, Sonya Yoncheva, Slávka Zámečníková and Georg Zeppenfeld will also perform. The program also includes a dance performance by Hyo-Jung Kang and Marcos Menha, first soloists of the Vienna State Ballet.

The matinee will also focus on discussions with the artists who will shape the coming year both musically and scenically, such as Barbora Horáková, Philippe Jordan, ballet director Martin Schläpfer, Lydia Steier, Christian Thielemann and Evgeny Titov.
