SONYA YONCHEVA IN ROSSINI STABAT MATER AT PHILHARMONIE DE PARIS

On May 28, 2019, Sonya Yoncheva will appear as the soprano soloist in Rossini’s Stabat Mater at the Philharmonie de Paris, with conductor Domingo Hindoyan leading the Orchestre de chamber de Paris and the Chœur de Radio France. Ms. Yoncheva will be joined by fellow soloists Celso Albelo, Chiara Amarù and Roberto Tagliavini.

Ms. Yoncheva’s performance of this exquisite work is one her many concert engagements this season. She has already appeared in gala concerts at the Paris Opera and the Mannheim Rosengarten, in recital at the Opéra de Monte Carlo, the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Rosey Concert Hall, and the Teatro alla Scala, and as a concert soloist at the Berlin Philharmonie, the Hungarian State Opera, Victoria Hall in Geneva, the Teatro del Lago Frutillar in Chile, the Teatro del Bicentenario in Mexico, and the Santa Monica Broad Stage.

After this performance of Stabat Mater, Ms. Yoncheva’s upcoming concert engagements include the Midsummer Night’s Gala at the Grafenegg Festival in Austria, followed by gala concerts at the Opéra Liege and the Teatro alla Scala.
