Vincenzo Milletarì returns to the Opéra de Tours on December 2 and 3, 2023, to conduct the Orchestre symphonique Région Centre-Val de Loire/Tours in an all-Beethoven program including the Symphony No. 5 in C minor, op. 67, Coriolan, overture in C minor op. 62, as well as the Piano Concerto No. 5 “The Emperor” in E flat major op. 73 where he joins forces with soloist Jean-Baptiste Doulcet. This will be the first time the Italian maestro conducts a symphonic concert at the Opéra de Tours, where last spring he made his highly acclaimed operatic debut with Donizetti’s comic opera “Deux hommes et une femme”.
