Andrea Sanguineti conducts La traviata at the Komische Oper Berlin, in a production by Nikola Raab. The cast includes Martina Russomanno (Violetta Valéry), Andrei Bondarenko (Giorgio Germont), José Simerilla Romero (Alfredo Germont), Grace Heldridge (Flora Bervoix), Ulrike Helzel (Annina), Ivan Turšić (Gastone), Tom Erik Lie (Barone Douphol), Junoh Lee (Marchese d’Obigny), Philipp Meierhöfer (Dottore Grenvil), and Thoma Jaron-Wutz (Giuseppe).

Performances take place on April 18, 24, and 30.

Andrea Sanguineti has frequently conducted Verdi’s masterpiece. In April, he also leads La traviata in Essen, and next month, he conducts a new production at the Opéra de Nice, France.
