On June 4, 2021, Annalisa Stroppa will make her role debut as Preziosilla in La Forza del destino at the LXXXIII Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, in a new production by Carlos Pedrissa and under the musical direction of Maestro Zubin Mehta, the first of a series of five performances running through June 19, 2021. She will share the stage with Saioa Hernández as Leonora di Vargas, Roberto Aronica as Don Alvaro, Amartuvshin Enkhbat as Don Carlo, Ferruccio Furlanetto as Fra Guardiano, Nicola Alaimo as Fra Melitone and Lorenzo Cortellazzi as Trabuco.

The Brescia-born mezzo-soprano made her Florentine debut in 2011 in Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, subsequently returning in 2014 as Fenena in Nabucco.
