Third debut of the season in a row for Erika Grimaldi, who is adding to her repertoire the role of Lady Macbeth in Macbeth on April 28 and 30 at the Korea National Opera in Seoul, in a new production by Fabio Ceresa and under the musical direction of Yves Abel.

Erika Grimaldi started her 2022/2023 season with her role debut of Maddalena di Coigny in Andrea Chénier at the Teatro Comunale Bologna, followed by her first Aida at the Teatro Regio Turin, both greeted with rave reviews – with La Stampa writing of her Aida as a “a well controlled voice capable of touching nuances”.

Erika Grimaldi will continue her series of debuts with Leonora di Vargas in La forza del destino at the Teatro Comunale Bologna in June and Amelia in Un ballo in maschera in Zurich under Gianandrea Noseda, among others.
