Erika Grimaldi makes her Festival Puccini Torre del Lago debut on July 26, 2024, as Tosca in a Pier Luigi Pizzi production led by Daniele Callegari. She will sing alongside Alejandro Roy as Cavaradossi and Erwin Schrott as Scarpia. There will be an additional performance on August 9.

This is Erika Grimaldi’s second production as Tosca, as she debuted this iconic role last February at the Ópera de las Palmas, receiving accolades (“Her Tosca was loaded with drama, with an intense interpretation accompanied by a technically proficient voice, with good projection and attractive timbre.”, Ópera Actual; “a Tosca of reference in the future,” Pro Ópera) and granting the encore of “Vissi d’arte.
