ETIENNE DUPUIS | EUGENE ONEGIN | DALLAS

On April 1, 2022, Etienne Dupuis will sing the title role of Eugene Onegin in a performance semi-staged by Alberto Triola under the musical direction of Maestro Fabio Luisi leading the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. He will sing alongside Nicole Car as Tatyana, Pavol Breslik as Lensky, Brindley Sherratt as Prince Gremin and Melody Wilson as Olga. There will be two additional performances on April 3 and 5, 2022.

The Quebecois baritone, who is making his Dallas Symphony Orchestra debut, is not new to the role of Eugene Onegin, having performed it in several international opera houses, including the Opéra de Montreal and Deutsche Oper Berlin: it was during this production that he met his wife, soprano Nicole Car, who, just like on this occasion, was singing the role of Tatyana.

Next season, he will sing the role at the Wiener Staatsoper.
