ETIENNE DUPUIS | FAURÉ’S REQUIEM | PARIS

On April 5, 2024, at the Philharmonie de Paris, Étienne Dupuis will sing the baritone soloist part in Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem with the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris led by Laurence Equilbey alongside soprano Sandrine Pia. The program also includes French art songs of the same period, of which he will sing Fauré’s “Les Roses d’Ispahan” and Saint-Saëns’s “Dans Macabre, op 40”. Tenor Julien Dran also performs in this concert.

Ètienne Dupuis has long been a favorite of Parisian audiences. Only this season, at the Opéra National de Paris, he scored a tremendous personal success in his debut as Paolo Albiani in Simon Boccanegra. At the same time, in a few weeks, he will add to his repertoire the part of Sancho Pança in Don Quichotte.
