Étienne Dupuis will sing the title role of Rigoletto with the Royal Opera tour in Japan, with two performances at the Kanagawa Kenmin Hall (June 22 and 25) and two at the NHK Hall Tokyo, in a production by Oliver Mears under the musical direction of Antonio Pappano. He will share the stage with Nadine Sierra as Gilda and Javier Camarena as Duca di Mantova.

The Quebecois baritone made his highly praised role debut as Rigoletto in December 2023 at the Teatro Real Madrid and will sing it again in January 2025 at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
