On October 8, 2022, George Gagnidze will make his debut at the Dallas Opera in the title role of Rigoletto, in a new production by Tomer Zvulun and under the musical direction of Maestro Emmanuel Villaume, the first of a series of four performances running through October 16, 2022. He will share the stage with Madison Leonard as Gilda, René Barbera as Duca di Mantova, Raymond Aceto as Sparafucile and Nadia Krasteva as Maddalena.

The Georgian baritone has performed the role of Rigoletto in over 100 performances in the most prestigious international opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Opéra de Paris, Los Angeles Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Aix-en-Provence Festival.

He will also bring it to the Hamburg State Opera later this season in three performances in March 2023.
