On May 17, 2024, Irina Lungu will sing the role of Medora in Il Corsaro at the Opera Carlo Felice Genova in a Lamberto Puggelli production under the musical direction of Renato Palumbo. She will sing alongside Francesco Meli as Corrado, Olga Maslova as Gulnara, Mario Cassi as Seid, Saverio Fiore as Selimo, Adriano Gramigni as Giovanni, Emilio Cesar Leonelli as Un eunuco and Matteo Michi as Uno schiavo. Three additional performances are scheduled on May 19, 24, and 26, 2024.

Irina Lungu first sang the role of Corrado’s unfortunate lover at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo in December 2021 to rave reviews.
