MARIA JOSÉ SIRI IN PAGLIACCI IN NAPLES

On February 3, 2019 Maria José Siri will return to the Teatro San Carlo in Naples to interpret the role of Nedda in the season premiere of Daniele Finzi Pasca’s staging of Pagliacci conducted by Philippe Auguin. Antonello Palombi, Lucio Gallo, Alessandro Liberatore and Davide Luciano will sing the other roles. Maria José Siri will sing a total of four performances with the last show taking place on February 9.

Maria José Siri made her debut as Nedda in Florence in a staging by Franco Zeffirelli and later reprised the part at the Monte-Carlo Opera in 2015.

After Pagliacci in Naples the Uruguayan soprano will sing the title role of Manon Lescaut in a new production of original version of the piece at the Teatro alla Scala conducted by Riccardo Chailly.
