After decades of high-profile successes in the most prestigious opera companies and concert halls throughout the world, on April 1, 2023, Mark S. Doss is making his Lincoln Center debut at David Geffen Hall in “Here I Stand: Paul Robeson’s 125th Birthday”, a homage to the art of legendary bass-baritone, actor, sportsman and political activist Paul Robeson, on the 125th anniversary of his birth, an event hosted by multidisciplinary artist Helga Davis.

The Grammy award-winning Mark S. Doss, accompanied by a selection of orchestra members from the New York Philharmonic, will sing arias and songs associated with Paul Robeson.

After this concert, the Ohio-born singer travels to Rome, Italy, where he is set to star as Alexandr Petrovič Gorjančikov in Leoš Janáček’s From the House of the Dead and in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony in St. Mark’s Square in Venice as part of the season of the Teatro La Fenice.
