On December 18, 2022, Matteo Beltrami will conduct the premiere of La Cenerentola at Oper Köln, a new production by Cecilia Ligorio and the first of a series of eight performances running through January 8, 2023. The cast includes Anna Alàs I Jové alternating with Adriana Bastida Gamboa as Angelina, Pablo Martinez and Dmitry Ivanchey as Don Ramiro, Omar Montanari and Pablo Ruiz as Don Magnifico, Wolfgang Stefan Schwaiger as Dandini, Christoph Seidl as Alidoro, Giulia Montanari as Clorinda and Charlotte Quadt as Tisbe.

The Genoa born Maestro, at his Oper Köln debut, has already conducted the beloved Rossini comic masterpiece in numerous important opera houses such at the Teatro San Carlo Naples, Hamburg State Opera, Festival Spoleto/Charleston USA, Basel Opera and Politeama Greco Lecce.
