On April 20, in Kaiserslautern, he conducts Jean Sibelius’s Finlandia, op. 26, and leads violinist Pinchas Zukerman in Max Bruch’s Violin Concerto in g minor op. 26.
On April 21 and 22, in Saarbrücken, Inkinen, and Zukerman join forces again in Ludwig van Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D major op. 61; also programmed are Sibelius’s Finlandia and Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8 in G major, Op. 88, “English”.
