On March 31, 2019 Sonya Yoncheva will join the Mannheim Philharmonic and conductor Boian Videnoff for a concert at the Rosengarten Mannheim. The program will include a selection of arias from Hérodiade, Le Cid, Carmen, Thaïs, Les centes vierges, Manon Lescaut, La Bohème, Madama Butterfly, and Gianni Schicchi.
This gala evening will benefit the orchestra, which is uniquely composed entirely of young musicians. Founded in 2009, the orchestra has set itself the goal of acting as a springboard for its members as they begin to their professional careers.

Further gala and concert engagements for Ms. Yoncheva this season include Rossini’s Stabat Mater with the Paris Philharmonic as well as gala concerts at the Opera Liege in Belgium and at the 2019 season opening of the Grafenegg Festival in Austria.
