On January 19, 2024, Vincenzo Milletarì conducts a new Linus Fellbom production of Il barbiere di Siviglia at the Kungliga Operan Stockholm, with a cast including Luthando Qave in the title role, Dara Savinova as Rosina, Konu Kim as Conte Almaviva, John Erik Eleby as Don Bartolo, Kristian Flor as Don Basilio, Therese Badman Stenius / Mathilda Wahlund as Berta and Johan Rydh / Peter Achrén as An Officer. There will be 15 additional performances on Jan vary 26; February 1,3, 5, 13, 17, 20, 22; March 4, 15, 18, 21, 26; and April 10, 29, 2024.

The Taranto-born conductor made his Royal Swedish Opera House with Rigoletto in 2017, and has ben re-invited regularly every year since for titles such as Ariadne auf Naxos, La traviata and Carmen, and will return in the near future for Rigoletto.

Vincenzo Milletarì first conducted Il barbiere di Siviglia in 2018 at the Royal Danish Theater, receiving rave reviews. This season, he will conduct another Rossini comic masterpiece, La Cenerentola, at Den Norske Opera Oslo.
