Vincenzo Milletarì adds a new title to his operatic repertoire, Gioachino Rossini’s La Cenerentola, which he will conduct for the first time at the Den Norske Opera Oslo on April 26, with other performances on May 2, 4, 6, 8, 14, 16, 20 and 23, in a production by Stefan Herheim. The cast includes Lilly Jørstad in the title role, Jack Swanson as Don Ramiro, Renato Girolami as Don Magnifico, Aleksander Nohr as Dandini, Adrian Sampetrean as Alidoro, Eline Korbi as Clorinda, and Astrid Nordstad as Tisbe.

This season the Taranto-born Maestro devotes a lot of his time to the Swan of Pesaro, having also conducted a new production of Il barbiere di Siviglia at the Kungliga Operan in Stockholm.
