Vincenzo Milletarì adds another operatic masterpiece to his repertoire by conducting Tosca at the Den Jyske Opera – Aarhus on August 15, 2023, in a new production by José Cura with a cast that includes Stefania Dovhan in the title role, Sergey Polyakov as Cavaradossi and David Kempster as Scarpia. There will be five additional performances through August 23, 2023.

Tosca is the third opera by Giacomo Puccini that Vincenzo Milletarì conducts, after his highly successful performances of La bohème earlier this year at the Göteborg Opera in Sweden, as well as Madama Butterfly at the Prague State Opera and the Royal Danish Opera.
The Taranto-born conductor has been enjoying a particularly close relationship with Denmark, having graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen.
