On August 9, 2026, Erika Grimaldi makes her Opera i Rebild debut, joining the annual open-air opera gala set amid the spectacular natural amphitheater of Rebild Bakker, one of Denmark’s most picturesque concert settings.

Under the baton of Giordano Bellincampi, Artistic Director of the festival, Grimaldi joins an international cast including mezzo-soprano Elisabeth Jansson, tenor Gustavo Porta, and baritone Andreas Winther, together with the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra and host Preben Kristensen.

The 2026 edition, titled “Destiny and Love,” celebrates the many facets of love through some of opera’s most beloved arias, duets, and orchestral pages, bringing world-class artists to one of Scandinavia’s most distinctive outdoor musical events.
