On November 18, 2023, Gabriela Scherer will sing the soprano soloist part in Giuseppe Verdi’s Messa da Requiem at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, with the Bremer Philharmoniker and the Carl-Philipp- Emanuel-Bach-Chor Hamburg led by Hansjörg Albrecht, sharing the stage with mezzo-soprano Eva Vogel, tenor Sung Min Song and baritone Albert Dohmen. Next month the Swiss soprano will make her much-awaited Hamburg State Opera debut with one of her signature roles, Senta in Der fliegende Holländer.
