NICOLE CAR & ETIENNE DUPUIS IN CHRISTMAS CONCERTS IN MONTRÉAL

On December 17, 18 and 19, Nicole Car and Etienne Dupuis will take part in the “Great Voices of Quebec sing Christmas” concert at the Maison Symphonique de Montréal, under the musical direction of Maestro Jacques Lacombe at the helm of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, and sharing the stage with contralto Marie-Nicole Lemieux. There will be two additional performances on December 18 and 19, 2019.

The concerts will feature music by Leroy Anderson, Engelbert Humperdinck, Max Reger, Pietro Yon, Augusta Holmès, Piotr Ilitch Tchaikovsky, Adolphe Adam, George Friderich Handel, Lowell Mason, Tino Rossi/Henri Martinet, Émile Waldteufel, Mary Travers, as well as traditional Christmas songs. The December 18 performance will be live audio/video broadcast on ICIMusique.ca at 8:00 pm. It will also be radio broadcast on December 24 on ICI Première at 10:00 pm and on December 25 on ICI Musique and ICI Musique Classique at 8:00 pm, and will be televised on ICI Téle on December 29 and on ICI ARTV the following day (at 8:00 and 8.30 pm respectively).

Other upcoming engagements for the Australian soprano include Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte at the Metropolitan Opera New York, the title role in Thaïs at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Mimì in La bohème at the Royal Opera House London, and Tatyana in Evgenij Onegin at the Sydney Opera House.

The Quebecois baritone will sing the role of Conte Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro and Albert in Werther at the Metropolitan Opera New York, Athanaël in Thaïs and Don Carlo (role debut) in La forza del destino at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the solo baritone part in Faure’s Requiem at the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, and the title role in Evgenij Onegin at the Sydney Opera House.
