Fresh from her London performances, Sonya Yoncheva will reprise the role of the Roman diva Floria Tosca on July 24 and 31, 2024, in a new Francesco Micheli production of the Puccini masterpiece at the Caracalla Festival in Rome, under the musical direction of Antonino Fogliani. She will sing alongside Vittorio Grigolo as Mario Cavaradossi and Roberto Frontali as Baron Scarpia in the other leading roles.

The Bulgarian soprano has already sung Tosca with the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma during its Japanese tour just one year ago, further solidifying her international acclaim and her reputation as one of  the leading Toscas of our times.
