On July 26, 2024, at the Festival, Perelada Sonya Yoncheva will partner with tenor Ismael Jordi in an evening devoted to the zarzuela. Accompanied on the piano by Rubén Fernández Aguirre, they will perform some of the most beautiful and famous arias and duets from the zarzuela genre, with music by Sorozábal, Luna, Torroba, Guerrero, Marqués, Vives, Chapí, Soutullo & Vert, Barrera & Calleja, and Penella.

This is not her first foray into the zarzuela territory: her highly praised concert at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid in 2021 is a testament to her mastery of the genre.

And it is not her first appearance in Perelada, as she received a standing ovation at her festival debut two summers ago.
