On February 5, 2026, Sonya Yoncheva brings the program of her celebrated, best-selling recording “George” to the Opéra National de Bordeaux, joined by mezzo-soprano Ekaterine Buachidze and pianist Olga Zado.
Released to international acclaim in 2025 on the Naxos label, “George” is devoted to the intellectually daring, unconventional 19th-century French writer and feminist George Sand, with music by Chopin, Leoncavallo, Delibes, Offenbach, Viardot, and Tosti.
