LEONARDO CAIMI IN LES VÊPRES SICILIENNES AT THEATER BONN

On May 25, 2019, Leonardo Caimi will make his debut at the Theater Bonn singing the role of Henri in the premiere of a new production of Les vêpres siciliennes by David Pountnney. Will Humburg will conduct the production, in which Caimi will have four further performances on June 1, 27, 29 and July 5, 2019. The cast will also include Anna Princeva, Ava Gesell, and David Fischer, among others.

As Henri, Caimi has most recently been heard at the Bayerische Staatsoper, where he premiered another new production of this work in March 2018, as well as in performances at the Frankfurt Opera earlier that same 2017/2018 season.

Following these performances of Les Vêpres siciliennes, Caimi will appear as Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly at Teatro Villamarta in Jerez. Further upcoming engagements include a new production of Manon (Des Greiux) with the Israeli Opera, a return to the Leipzig Oper in Carmen (Don José) and Turandot (Calaf) at the Oper Köln.
